Demographic information is now loaded for patients when doing pre-registrations on the portal.

Patients no longer need to sign into a portal account to pull their information forward into a registration process. Registration requests sent via the Preregistration process within GoRev now can now be tied to a specific visit without having to align dates/times on checkin.

From the Patient overview, select patient portal, Send preregistration link

select the location and service type

This location and service type will automatically be applied to the visit upon the patient successfully completing the registration process. Keep in mind, the location selected also drives the actual pre-registration process and digital documents attached to the process. For example, you may have one service type with 4 consent forms whereas another may be a streamlined registration process with 1 form.

Note: It will change any location or service type you had previously set on the visit within GoRev.

Select new visit or current visit

Selecting New Visit will cause the system to create a new encounter when the patient completes the registration process. This can be useful for return patients as you can simply pull up the existing patient, send the pre-registration link, select new visit, patient completes registration and a new visit is created.

By Default the system is pointed at the current visit and the patients registration process will attach to the current visit you have selected.

The patient will receive an email or sms requesting them to pre-register now.

The default email looks like the below.

The default text message looks like below and will come from the GoRev registered short code: 36753.

patients will be presented with a hipaa validation web page upon clicking the link in email/text

The patient will be required to validate their first name, last name, and date of birth in order to continue with their pre-loaded registration process.

Note: The encrypted URL sent via email/text expires after 60 minutes and also expires after one use by the patient.

When the patient completes their registration, information that has already been entered in GoRev will be pre-filled for the patient.

The patient will not show up in online registrations

When using this new pre-registration process issued from within GoRev the patient will no longer show up in online registrations. This is because the registration is directly linked to a GoRev patient and automatically saves.

Patients registering via any other process outside of this one issued within GoRev will follow the normal online registrations path.
