📱MyPay app: 💲 Expenses
Objectives:
This article gives a brief overview of the Expenses section in the MyPay app.
💡Good to know: The MyPay app was redesigned in 2023 and is available to all users, but each company can customize it to match employee needs. That means your version of MyPay may look slightly different from our examples.
Let's get started. Open the MyPay app and open the More menu by clicking on the icon in the bottom right corner of your dashboard.
Scroll down to the Pay section and click on Expenses.
Use the dropdown menu to choose how far back you'd like to see expense reports, and click on New Expense Report to start a new report.
Give your expense report a name and then click Create Expense Report.
Once you've created a report, you can click on New Expense Item to start adding individual expenses to the report.
Start filling out the expense item details. You can use the Scan Receipt button to use your device's camera and automatically populate some of the information.
The Calculate Mileage button will help you find the distance between two points, like the office and the site of an event.
When you've provided all of the details of an expense item, click the Add Item button at the bottom of the item. Then you'll be returned to the report and can add more expense items.
Click on an expense item to see its details, or to delete or edit the item.
When your report is done, click on the Submit Report button and then confirm you want to submit the report by clicking Continue.
You'll see a notice that your expense report status is updated and it will show as submitted in your expense reports view.
You can't edit a report after it's submitted, but you can click on a report to see its details.
