💡 What Is This Update?
We are focused on continuing to streamline the bookings process for you and your customers.
Soon we will launch 2 new updates which will enhance the user experience when working with bookings on the Logixboard platform.
- Duplicate existing booking to create a new one
- Hold/Resume Booking Request
👀 UPDATE 1: Duplicate Existing Booking To Create A New One
Users will be able to duplicate an existing booking as the starting point for a new booking, significantly reducing data entry.
With this new feature, the following fields will be automatically copied over:
- Customer
- Shipper
- Consignee
- Origin Port
- Destination Port
- Weight + Unit
- Volume + Unit
- Mode
- Goods Description
- Incoterms
👀 UPDATE 2: Hold/Resume Booking Request
You and your customer will be able to place a booking request on hold if your customer is no longer looking to make the move but may in the future.
When ready, you or your customer can resume the booking request.

- In which statuses can a booking be duplicated?
A Booking can be duplicated in all statuses by your customer and by the agent.
You (the LSP) can duplicate a booking in all statuses except new request since a review is required for those bookings - At what stages can I still hold a booking request?
A booking can be put on hold in any status. - Why can't I send an option while the booking request is on hold?
When a booking is put on hold it means the customer would not like to move forward with it just yet. Therefore, actions are limited. In order to add options to the booking, first resume the booking. - Can I send booking options after the booking request is resumed?
Yes - Will I or my customer receive an email notification if the booking request is resumed?
Yes. Email notifications are available for putting on hold and resuming.
