Shipment Details Redesign

🎉New Feature Announcement

We're making it even easier for you, and your customer, to find critical shipment details. All changes in this release will be in your Shipment Details Page. Changes are:

1. Shipment Details “cards” will now default to a collapsed view.

   1. Focuses your customer’s attention on the most critical information by reducing noise.

   2. All of the information they are used to seeing is still available by expanding the cards.

2. Brokerage data now on main landing page.

   1. We removed the brokerage tab and placed critical customs information front and center on the shipment details landing page.

   2. Duplicate information like customer names and addresses have been removed.

3. Clearer left navigation.

   1. Names of the tabs are now visible, which means no more hovering over icon squares to see sections available.

🤷🏻‍♂️ Why the change?

As your partner in providing a world-class customer experience for your customers, we are constantly researching. We interviewed dozens of shippers and learned that they want answers fast, all in one place.

To answer the demand and make you look like the data hero, this redesign serves 2 functions:

1. Streamlines information: We don’t want to overwhelm them, so we only show the most critical information first, then allow them to learn more if they want.

2. Positions for Linear View: Your customers think of shipments as an A —> B, pickup —> delivery process. This redesign positions us to move toward this view, and away from a modulated view. In future releases you will see more Cargowise modules pulled into Shipment Details such as Quotes, Bookings, Warehouse, etc.
