Using Q-Robot to Send SMS
In various business processes, there's often a need to contact customers and provide them with updates or notifications. This could be project progress reports, order confirmation notifications, or even marketing-related messages. Anffy has introduced a feature that enables automatic sending of emails after any process step, which has been well-received. Expanding on this, Anffy now offers the option to reach customers through SMS, using the AnffyQ-Robot.
For instance, a message confirming a successful conference room booking can be sent via AnffyQ-Robot, as depicted in the accompanying image.

1 How to Enable Q-Robot to Send Text Messages?
- Navigate to Anffy and click on the plug-in center located in the upper right corner.

- Once activated, you'll find the text message template column under 'Settings' in the application editor.
Bulk SMS as a Marketing Tool
- Bulk SMS is a common marketing tool. However, the content needs to comply with operator requirements and pass a review before being sent.
- To use Q-Robot for automatic SMS sending, first, create and submit a text message template for review.
Step 1: Create an SMS Template
Follow the provided steps to create and submit an SMS template for review.
Step 2: Set up Q-Robot to send text messages
Once the template is approved, set up Q-Robot for SMS dispatch.
On the 'Add Process' page, add a Q-Robot node for sending SMS. Set the recipient in the node and select an approved SMS template, as shown in the image.

Note: If the template is still under review or has been rejected, Q-Robot will not trigger the SMS, leading to a failure in sending the message. Ensure that the template is approved before adding it.
SMS usage via Q-Robot is deducted from your account, with each workspace initially receiving 10 free text messages. After these are used, purchase a text message package through the admin portal.
