Webhooks

How and why we use webhooks

Webhooks are primarily used to share information from Sales Connector with an outside software, platform or document. Often times, our clients already have a method for keeping track of their leads, and Webhooks allow us to seamlessly auto-fill essential information from our platform into another that they already use.

How does it work?

When a client requests a webhook to be created, our Account Management team steps in to work with the client on mapping out exactly what information they need from Sales Connector and where they'd like that information to land.

Once the webhook is created, some clients opt to use this feature on their own, but sometimes, they request our team to use it as well. To select a webhook, choose it from the Webhooks dropdown found below the Type Message section in each conversation.

Please refer to the client's notes for information on the use of webhooks in each particular account.
