Requesting a Grant Amendment
To request an amendment, your grant must be active and it must be requested before the award term ends. Log into the portal and:
- Click on Requests.
- Click on Active Requests.
- Select the grant by clicking on the hyperlinked blue grant number.
- Once you see your grant, click on the Request Amendment button on the upper right corner.
- The first question you will be asked is which type of amendment you are requesting (cost extension, no-cost extension, time and cost extension, refund).
- The questions you are asked in your amendment request depend on the type of amendment you are requesting.
- If you are requesting additional time, select No Cost Extension, then enter the requested end date.
- If you are requesting a cost extension, select Cost Extension, then enter the amount of the increase only.
- For example, if you have a 100,000 grant and you want to amend it to be 120,000, enter 20,000.
- Once you've answered all of the questions, click Next to submit the amendment request.
- You may view the amendment request on the Related tab.
