Deleting PASI Core Alerts in PowerSchool from a Previous School Year

PowerSchool syncs Core Alerts from PASI for the past 2 or 3 years, so there may be times that you will see alerts that are from previous school years in the list.
The first step for ALL alerts should be to resolve the error. However, in the event that a previous school year alert cannot be fixed, you may be able to delete the entry.

*NOTE: THIS PROCESS SHOULD NOT BE DONE ON CURRENT SCHOOL YEAR ALERTS!

  1. Click on the PASI Alert icon at the top of the PowerSchool window.

  2. Typically an alert from a previous year will show up with the "Conflict" alert type and the previous school year will be listed next to it.
In this example, there are three "Conflict 2534" entries that are from the previous school year 2020-2021.

  3. Navigate to the Filter fields at the top of the page. Enter the Alert and Alert Code fields to filter down the list of alerts you will be deleting.
Following the example from above, we would fill in Alert type: Conflict and the Alert Code: 2534.

  4. Click Get Core Alerts.
  5. The list will now display with a check box on the left hand side. Simply click the checkboxes for the alerts you will be deleting and click Delete Core Alerts.
