How to Manage Discounts



Discounts are a method for providing additional value to the solar customer. Common discounts include cash discounts or Military discounts, but can be customized as desired.

To create a discount that can be used by a sales rep in a deal, navigate to the Settings > Pricing > Discounts page.

Click on the + New button on the top right.

Give the new discount a Name. Identify the Type (price per watt, fixed amount, percentage, or custom). Enter a value in the field to the right of the Type. Click Save.

The discount will automatically be created in Draft status. To activate it, use the dropdown under the Status column on the Discounts page to set it to Active. It will then need to be added to any pricing models needed. Go to Settings > Pricing > Pricing Models > (model), and type the name in the Discounts box. Click Save Changes in the bottom right, and the discount will now be able to be used.
