Pre-Wired AUX Audio

FOLLOW STEP BY STEP !!!

skipping any one of the four steps will produce no audio

  1. Set Radio To AUX
  2. If AUX is Grayed out (skip this step if aux is selectable) then insert supplied 3.5mm dummy plug into vehicles 3.5mm aux jack - if aux is selectable continue to next step
  3. Disable Bluetooth pairing - prior to installation of the interface your phone was paired to the car for calling. Go to the Bluetooth setting of the phone and do forget device aka Forget connection from your phone to your existing vehicle.
  4. If you don't disable Bluetooth audio, phone will force audio to Bluetooth instead of AUX

now once your radio is in auxiliary mode you will be able to hear the audio and calls from CarPlay and android auto.
