Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) at Mazzetti
At Mazzetti, our Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) play a vital role in fostering an inclusive, supportive, and high-performing workplace. ERGs are voluntary, employee-led groups that bring together individuals with shared experiences, identities, interests, or allies, to build community, drive change, and support personal and professional growth.
Core Focus Areas
While the specific goals and activities of each ERG may vary from year to year, all ERGs at Mazzetti align under five core focus areas:
Advocacy
- Champion initiatives and policies that promote gender equity and inclusion in the workplace.
- Provide a dedicated platform to advocate for equitable and inclusive practices at Mazzetti and within our industry.
- Ensure ERG members' voices are amplified and their ideas are heard by leadership.
Professional Development & Education
- Offer resources, mentorship, and training opportunities to support career growth and leadership development.
- Develop and share educational materials and host sessions that increase awareness and understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion topics.
- Promote knowledge-sharing and cross-functional learning experiences.
Internal Community Building
- Create a welcoming and safe environment for open dialogue, support, and connection.
- Host events and initiatives that foster relationships, collaboration, and belonging across the organization.
- Encourage cross-ERG collaboration to strengthen our internal culture.
External Community Engagement
- Build partnerships with organizations supporting women in STEM and broader equity-focused initiatives.
- Participate in outreach programs, volunteer efforts, and community events that reflect Mazzetti’s commitment to social responsibility.
- Help connect Mazzetti to diverse talent pipelines and external communities.
Aligning to Advance Business Goals
- Collaborate with HR, leadership, and other stakeholders to ensure ERG goals align with company strategy.
- Identify opportunities for ERGs to enhance business practices, culture, innovation, and employee engagement.
- Support company-wide efforts to build a more inclusive and effective organization.

How We Measure Success
To ensure our ERGs are meaningful, sustainable, and impactful, we assess success using both qualitative and quantitative measures, including:
- Alignment with Business Goals: Integration of ERG efforts with company strategy and DEI priorities.
- Engagement & Participation: Growth in membership, event attendance, and volunteer involvement.
- Visibility & Influence: ERG presence in company-wide initiatives, communications, and decisions.
- Professional Growth: Opportunities created for mentorship, learning, and career advancement.
- Community Impact: Partnerships and outreach efforts that support equity and connect Mazzetti with broader communities.
We also hold quarterly alignment meetings between ERG leaders and HR to review goals, share updates, and stay connected to Mazzetti’s evolving business strategy. Leadership is expected to be actively involved in both strategy and day-to-day support.

There are many ways to engage with ERGs at Mazzetti—whether you’re looking to lead, learn, or simply connect:
- Join an ERG: Become a member to receive invites to meetings, events, and activities.
- Attend ERG Events: Participate in learning sessions, social gatherings, and volunteer opportunities.
- Serve as a Leader: Step into an ERG leadership role to help shape strategy and programming.
- Partner Across the Company: Collaborate with other ERGs, HR, or business teams to maximize impact.
- Be an Ally: Even if you don’t identify with an ERG’s focus group, your support and participation matter.
