This will sync the Revit Standards Folder to your computer.

The Revit Template and the Revit Shared parameter file can then be be found in this location on your PC.

The SAR+ ARCH Template is an RTE file. To use this file as a template, start a new project by selecting New Project from the Revit launch screen, New from File>New, or the shortcut cntr+N.

If your template is mapped to your Revit Instance, the SAR+ Template will be in the dropdown. If not, select Browse, and navigate to the file location in order to create a blank file from the Template.

The Revit Template is periodically updated. Template Updates and Versions can be found in the SAR+ BIM Team channel called Staff Updates.

This channel will show a publish history of the SAR+ Revit Template. The Template and your Revit Project wil have additional information embedded in it to let you know where your project lies in the timeline of updates and what, if any, updates you may want to transfer into your project. The Publish Dates, Template Versions, and notes are maintained both in the BIM Staff Updates Channel as well as in the Template itself, allowing you to compare the two and advance your project accordingly.

The Working SAR+ Detail Library Revit file and Template Revit File are maintained in a BIM 360 / ACC project called SAR+ BIM Template and Standards.

These contain projects in which the working SAR+ Template and detail library are developed prior to publishing. This is all part of a larger strategy to be fully cloud based for our daily operations.
