Create user segments and assign them to content

With user segmentation, you will be able to decide which users can see published content based on the segment they belong to.

How to create a segment

  1. Login to the Magine Pro Console

  2. Go to Segments in the User section

  3. Click on Create segment and follow the creation guide

You can add only existing users to a segment.

How to add a segment to your content

  1. Login to the Magine Pro Console

  2. Find the content you want to assign to a user segment in the Media & Metadata section

  3. Select the asset

  4. Go to the availability section

  5. Add the segment and save

You can then publish the asset and guide your selected users into your service to the private screening.

Afterwards, you can decide if you publish the asset for all your users by simply removing the user segment or unpublish the asset again.
