Import Journal Entry - Screen Overview

Screen Code:jltjemimp

This article outlines the simplest way to manually import multiple journal entries in the OG Financial General Ledger module. This import follows a specific CSV file format that you are importing. There is also a sample reference template that you can download and populate with your own data. As part of the download feature, it also provides a history of the imports of your files. It is intended for accountants, engineers, or management personnel.

*Note:

  • The maximum CSV file size should be 1 MB. The system displays an error if your file size exceeds than 1 MB.
  • Imported file is available for a maximum of 14 days from the time when you upload them. After 14 days, the file gets deleted automatically.

For example, accountants usually enter similar entries every month and they would always look for a way that can save time for them to create similar entries with different amounts each month.

For example, Payroll. Importing is one of the easiest ways to save a lot of time for the accountants to make the entries in the accounting system. They can just update the information in the CSV file and import multiple entries in a single go.
