Yield Profiles - Hedging Analysis Overview

Hedging Yield Profile Analysis
Hedging yield profiles allow you to analyse the performance of each hedger and the underlying rules to understand which are the most cost effective and which require tuning.
Hedging yield profiles are accessed via the "External" yield profiles, filter by party to see the aggregated performance for the Arb and the Hybrid Hedgers. Yield profiles are viewed from the house perspective so spread is expected to be negative as we are trading on external rates.
See how to interpret hedging yields to understand what characterise good/bad flow.
Some key metrics to consider when assessing the performance of hedge trades are:
What does hedging execution look like per LP?
How often are trades being filled?
Investigations like this can guide decision making when introducing new rules or tuning existing ones:
Which rules are best/worst performing
Which rules are doing the most volume - do they need dialling back?
Are we paying too much spread? Do we need to introduce caps or target more liquid instruments?
Do we need to target different LPs to improve fill rates?
Are there specific LPs to direct specific instrument flow towards?
