How to Process Driving Safety Course in the Court Application

This document is designed to demonstrate the process to set a defendant up for Driver Safety Course in the Court application

Path = In the case, Deferrals – Driver Safety Course

Defendants can be set for Driver Safety Course in the Court application.

To do this follow the path above which brings you to the following screen:

The Driver Safety Course module will only allow the payment to apply to the Court Costs, Administrative Fee, and Discretionary Fee. Payments will not apply to the Fine while setup for DSC.

The Court Costs and Fees, and Administrative Fee will auto populate on this module. Administrative Fee is pulled from the System Configuration setup.

To add a Discretionary Fee, Check the box next to Discretionary Fee and input the amount.

After this, Select the Defendants Plea, Judgment, and Completion due date.

Also, if you would like to print a document, check Yes and select the appropriate document from the drop down. This drop-down lists documents defined to process DSC.

Once all of the information is complete hit Save on the top left-hand corner.
