Washington Business License

Register for a Secure Access Washington (SAW) online account here: https://secure.dor.wa.gov/home/Account/Register
Apply for a Washington State Business License via https://dor.wa.gov/. It costs $90 to do so. More info can be found on the Washington State Department of Revenue: https://dor.wa.gov/open-business/apply-business-license. For business structure, if you own your STR in your name, please select Sole Proprietorship.
Your business license takes 8-10 days to process. After your business license is approved, you will receive two letters in the mail, containing two different letter IDs (one for business license, one for excise tax account). Using these two letter IDs, you can add your business license and excise tax account to your SAW online access.
After your business license is live and you can access it from your SAW account, log into your SAW account: https://secureaccess.wa.gov/, and access "Business Licensing and Taxes provided by Department of Revenue"

In order for Betterstay to help you manage the quarterly/annually excise tax filing, you can grant us access to your account:
On the home page, under "More Options", click on "Add or Remove Other User's Access".
Select the entity you wish to grant access, and click on "Confirm".
Click on "Add User".
You will be prompted to enter SAW User ID and Email. Please enter (all lower case) the following info then proceed to the next step/

Under Access Type, please select "Account Manager" then proceed to the next step
Under Account Selection, please only select "Excise Tax".
Click on Submit.

You have now successfully granted Betterstay access to be able to file Excise Tax on your behalf.

You must have Author or Collection Owner permission to create Guru Cards. Contact your team's Guru admins to use this template.
