Pro Pack - No Shipment

Technote #252ProPackSetup.pdf

You can create and charge for a packing job that isn’t part of a shipment. This will bypass all shipping-related screens, and the transaction will flow right into the POS Register once you click the P.O.S. button.

Choose Pro Pack— No Shipment

Select the Customer if needed. You can de-select advanced mode if you know which materials and how much you plan to use.

Select the Fragility needed for the packing job. Enter the object dimensions. There are five Fragility levels that determine the proper box size and how much additional labor is charged. The fragility default is set in your Pro Pack Settings but you can choose different levels on the fly. The Configuration choices allow you to automatically increase your revenues for more difficult (and presumably time consuming) packing jobs.

You can add or make changes to the packing materials selected if needed. Use the Modify button for more customized packing options.

Based on the object dimensions and fragility level selected, Pro Pack will select the container and filler needed to pack the item. No weight is needed for a Pack Only estimate.

Once completed, you will get a Pro Pack Estimate label. Next, click the POS Register button from the main PostalMate screen to carry the charges over to the POS register. A Pro Pack No Shipment will never go into the Retrieve Pro Pack Estimate feature.
