Process Journal Entries for Date Range
Screen code: gltjeedt
By selecting a valid User ID or *ALL for a specific date range, you can edit, post, and print journal entries for all or selected users.
Navigation Tip: General Ledger >> Journal Entries >> Process Journal Entries for date Range.
It has the following parameters:
Userid to Include: By default, it is *all. Enter User Id for specific User. This is a required field.
Begin Date, End Date: Specify the date range for Processing. For example, from 29/11/2022 to 29/11/2023.
Process option: By default, the process option is Edit.
- Edit - Edits the Journal Entries
- Post - Posts the Edited Journal Entries
- Print - Print Journal Entries
*Note: Fill out all mandatory fields marked with an asterisk to continue. Otherwise, the system displays an error.
Process options:
- Edit: To edit multiple journal entries for a date range OR, post and print the Journal Entries that fall under a specific date range.
- Post: To post edited journal entries for a date range.
- Print: To print multiple journal entries for a date range and assist you in printing the Edited OK Journal Entries that fall under a specific date range.
*Note: Edit, Post, and Print help you to filter and post journal entries created by a specific user or by all users.
Click the Submit button to display the Submit Parameters page and run the job.

Click the Spooler button from the Common Actions bar to go to the Work with Print Jobs screen to view the job and job status.
The Work with Print Jobs page appears, click Post_JE_number_17 job from the list to view the report. Similarly, you can check for Print and Post actions.
