Counterparty PnL Screen
The Counterparty PnL screen in MFXEcho houses MT4 reports and a full breakdown of a counterparties trading activity, behaviours and patterns.
For an MT4 account, Historic Balance Reports will be loaded for the entire of the users trading history (if we have MT4 permissions to read a users registration date) otherwise (for efficiency) the Bridge will load a fixed period,
Non-MT4 flow will not have the in-depth lifetime report but behavioural statistics will still be visible.
Summary statistics
The summary page gives the min, mean and max values for certain trading statistics for the account selected
You are also able to view the transaction report and PnL over the past year or lifetime of the account if the information is enabled via MT4.

Most active hours
Average trade size
Holding periods
Average margin proximity
Cumulative PnL
Cumulative PnL shows the counterparties PnL over the selected lookback period, the chart maps the trailing balance of the account over the given period.
This can viewed as the total PnL, 30s PnL, spread, forward, reval or open/close PnL (where bridged via MT4). These can also be grouped to show the PnL evolution split by the channels the counterparty has traded down, instruments, the internalisation profile (STP/B-Book) and markup profile.

Yield Profile
The yield profiles shows the aggregated performance of all of the counterparties trades within the time period, revalued at specific points from trade inception. This is viewed from the house perspective

Instruments
The instruments tab shows all instruments dealt by the counterparty in the chosen period, the quantity and volume of trades, number of cancelled and brokered.
Trading Patterns
Trading patterns shows a heat chart split by hour and instrument to show when the counterparty was most active.
The chart can be viewed by order quantity by hour to see which trading timezones and hours during the day the counterparty was most actively trading.
Viewing by PnL/hour shows at what periods the counterparty is most costly/profitable, Spread/hour also allows you to see if there is specific period the counterparty is most able to achieve low/negative spreads which may indicate they are targeting specific trading strategies such as scalping or latency arb.
Understanding a toxic counterparties trading patterns means you are able to tailor a management solution such as hedging or execution rules to manage or eliminate losses.
It can also help to identify vulnerabilities in pricing (latency/too tight spreads) if counterparties are consistently costing Spread at specific times.
Classification
The classification gives a quick overview of total PnL, recommended strategy for managing the counterparty and the way in which it is currently managed
The page also gives an overview of the counterparties activity around news events in the period.
MT4 Report
For an MT4 account, the MT4 Report tab will be populated. This fills information pulled from reports found in the MT4 app, this covers account information such as:
