MeUndies Bralette Sizing
Our size guide can be pretty confusing to look at for some customers, but when all else fails, we recommend to follow their cup size to find their perfect fit. That being said, comfort level does vary depending on the style of bralette. Let's take a look at the size chart again, and dive into the individual styles.
Let's use the 34B size as an example. A 34B bra size corresponds to a Small in our bralette. But let's also look at the Sister Size, because we know that comfort can fluctuate with the bra type. The sister sizes are 36A (and 32C but that's still a Small), which corresponds with a Medium. Keep that in mind as we look at the individual styles.
U-Back
This style has no adjustable features, so it's a tough call. Both Small and Medium will likely fit, it depends on what the customer is more comfortable with, tighter band, or looser straps. If they are okay with a snug band, then stick to their bra size, but if they want some more room, size up to the sister size. Small or Medium, depends on preference.
T:Back:
This style has adjustable straps, but it is a racerback design, so it's going to feel smaller. For this style, we recommend sizing up to the Sister Size with a larger band for extra comfort. In the example, size Medium.
FeelFree Triangle:
This is another tricky one because it has adjustable band and strap, but the cups are pretty flimsy which means they offer no support, and little coverage. We recommend sizing up to your larger band Sister Size if you are looking for more coverage, but staying at your normal bra size for optimized support. Small or Medium, depends on preference.
Ruched:
This style also had adjustable straps and band, but since it's more of a full coverage option, I say you're safe sticking with your bra size. Small.
LongLine:
The LongLine is our most structured bralette, and comes with a super sturdy adjustable band, and adjustable straps. The band can be pretty tight, so I'd go with the larger size, Medium.
FeelFree Lace Triangle:
This is the better version of the triangle, all the same features, just more coverage which helps a lot. For this one, I'd stick to the normal bra size, Small.
FeelFree Longline:
Since this is the most supportive version + it is a racerback design, I suggest sizing up to the larger sister size, so Medium.
Racerback:
Similar to the above this racerback is going to fit a little snug. If they are planning on wearing it for exercise, and want the extra support, then stick with the bra size, Small. However if support isn't a factor, I might size up to give a little more room in the band and additional comfort.
Scoop Neck:
This is basically a sporty version of the U-Back, so there are no adjustable parts. However, this thing is SMALL so definitely definitely size up to the Medium.
As you can tell, there's no answer that is going to be perfect for everyone. The best we can do is provide as much information as we can to the customer so they can make a decision based on their preference, and remind them that we will always take care of them if they're unsatisfied.
