Plain text emails

Some ACLU supporters get our emails on a device that doesn’t render HTML. That means our emails will show up in plain text form – no fonts, colors, images, or any kind of design elements. It’s important to make sure that plain text emails look neat and readable and as nice as possible for the format. That means we’ll often put links on their own line of text, and/or introduce links with actionable language (READ MORE: or WATCH:).
