BYOD Testing - Parental Controls

Assessment Lock (Vretta) provides a secure, controlled environment for online testing. Students may complete assessments in Vretta as long as the Assessment Lock software is installed on their device.

We would ask that parents allow installation of this program so students can participate in field testing using their personal device. If parental controls or an administrator password is required during the device setup, please input the code to allow installation.

For Chromebooks

On the web: Click "Parent access code" on the left menu

Via the Family Link App:

  1. On your device, open Family Link Family Link.
  2. At the top left, select your child’s profile and then Parent access code.

For Windows & Mac computers

After LockDownBrowserOEMSetup has been downloaded, double click the file and enter the Administrator password that has been set on the device. Afterwards, continue the install as seen in the student guide.
