Adding Splash events to your website

If your department website is set up with an Events feed or widget (see this DAE example), you can add your Splash event to the list presented in that section by using the correct Splash tags.

If your department page does not already have an Events feed, you can add one by contacting your college or department’s communications director or M&C project manager, and specifying how you would like to filter your events—whether by tags, event theme, school, department, program, college, or center—using and/or logic.

You can choose from three layout types, examples of which can be found on this events widget preview:

  • Simple event listing with or without images in a center space
  • Simple event listing in a sidebar space
  • Event listing with mini-calendar and filtering

If you would like to add an event widget to your microsite (ie hosted on Google Sites, Squarespace, etc.), you can create a Splash hub and then embed it with an iframe.
