How to create a PDF

PDF is an abbreviation that stands for Portable Document Format. It's a file format that gives people an easy, reliable way to present and exchange documents - regardless of the software, hardware, or operating systems being used by anyone who views the document.

The consultant portal will only allow you to upload documents in PDF format (.pdf). Depending on what tool you are using, there are different methods for converting to pdf. However, the method that is universally supported is Print, Save As PDF.

Word: Print - save as pdf

Select File and Print in Microsoft Word. In the Print dialogue box, there will be a pdf section. Select Save as PDF and then save your document.

Excel: Print - save as pdf

Select File and Print in Microsoft Excel. In the Print dialogue box, there will be a pdf section. Select Save as PDF and then save your document.

Google Doc: Print - Destination - Save as PDF

Select File and Print in Google Doc. In the Print dialogue box, select Save as PDF under Destination and and then save your document.

Google Doc: Print - Next - Save as PDF

Select File and Print in Google Sheet. In the Print dialogue box, choose which sheets and then Next. Then the Print dialogue box will appear. Select Save as PDF under Destination and and then save your document (see image above).

From your photo previewer, select File and Print. In the Print dialogue box, there will be a pdf section. Select Save as PDF and then save your document.
