Genre browse collection
This collection type gathers several collections or views. This allows you to guide your customers into specific content sections. That could be genres, asset types or any other deep dive into your content you want to do.
The genre browse collection uses a 16:9 image and adds the title of the collection on top of the image. If you want to embed the title in the image you can follow our guide here.
Adding views or collections?
When creating a genre browse collection you can choose between adding collections or views. Which option to choose depends on how you want to present the content.
If you add collections a user will see only the assets included in that collection. You can see an example here.
At the top of the page the collection image will appear. If you haven't embedded the title in the image it will appear in the lower left corner.
The collection is displayed as poster or 16:9 collection depending on your collection configuration.
If you add views the user will be redirected to a new page which gives you the full range of curation and design options. You can see an example here.
