Biamp TesiraForte X series, VoIP, and Network Port Modes
By default, the X series puts both control and VoIP traffic on Port 1 of the built-in switch. However, if you upgrade to FW4.2 or later, you can manually adjust the network port mode and put VoIP on Port 2 instead. Here is a link to the whitepaper on the Biamp Cornerstone site that discusses this:

This paper also discusses how we can connect a single port on the built-in switch to a 3rd-party switch (ie. Netgear M-series) and receive AVB and Dante traffic over the single connection. Note that we would have to make sure we purchased and applied and AVB license to the Netgear switch.
