This card shows you how to access SAP from outside of the office. This is also how SAP is accessed from our Christchurch branch. These instructions are for Windows computers.

  8. Click 'OK' and go back to the 'General' tab.

  11. Click 'Save as' to save this configuration to your desktop for future use.

  12. Double clicking the saved RDC file will open remote access to our SAP server. Please be aware the first password you are asked for is your usual windows password - not SAP. Once you have successfully entered this you will be shown a virtual session of Windows running on a server at work. Open SAP and use it in the usual manner. Avoid running other applications in the virtual session.
  13. IMPORTANT - Ensure you click on the windows button in the bottom left-hand corner, select the power button and then choose disconnect at the end of every session.
