Email Notifications for Package Receiving Setup
Email notifications for shipments must be enabled for package receiving emails to work.
In PostalMate, choose Tools > PostalMate Settings > Email Notifications. On the Shipment tab, check Enabled.
Place a check in the box next to Enabled to turn on Shipment notification. (This email is sent after you perform a daily carrier pickup.)
Select the Defaults:
Recipient: Customer or Ship To. This is most commonly set to Customer.
If you wish to have the email cc’d to the store, check the Copy to store box. Verify the store email in the left column.
If you want notifications to be sent for every shipment, click the Auto send box. Auto send can be selected to avoid being prompted to send the email for each shipment.
The Marketing content box contains any message you wish to display on the shipment notification. HTML may be used in this box for a more customized message.
Using Image URL an image such as your store logo, or coupon can be included in your email. This image must be stored in a place that PostalMate can reach via URL (web address). You are responsible for storing that image. PC Synergy cannot store this image for you.
Add the service in Mailbox Manager
In Mailbox Manger, choose Tools > Settings. Select Services Options
Enter the Service Description in the first available service field. (Service 2 or 3, etc.)
Check the Enabled box to activate the service.
If you are charging for this service enter the Rate/mo. (Rate per month)
Select the Department to which you wish to assign the money for this service.
Select Mail notifications as the Type.
Click OK to save
Enable the service: Choose Mail Notifications on the left menu in Settings
Choose PostalMate Package Receiving on the right.
Add Service To Mailboxes
In Mailbox Manger, choose Find Mailbox
Find and highlight the appropriate mailname.
Select Add service option from the drop-down menu and click OK.
