335544721 - Statement Failed to Prepare - #Network Issue (usually on aux)
check services to ensure Firebird services running
if unable to open PMU, go into REGEDIT > H KEY LOCAL MACHINE > SOFTWARE > WOW64 > PCSYNERGY > POSTALMATE > CURRENT VERSION > = right click on WORKSTATION ID > MODIFY > = change to 0 >> click on FB folder > right click on SERVER >MODIFY and change to LOCALHOST
*Make exceptions in Windows Firewall (inbound/outbound) PORT 3050
* if anti-virus is controlling Windows Defender Firewall (WDF), they will need to maintain by adding exceptions in chosen Firewall
Go back into PostalMate Utilities and re- network station back to auxiliary
Go through PostalMate Settings once an auxiliary 1.) Carrier Setup > USPS if they use they Dymo printer 2.) Package receiving = label printer 3.) Drop-off settings 4.) Label settings = assign all labels that show a number int the QTY fields 5.) Station settings = enable and set the report printer (you can ask if the want to scale PM)
Open CashMate and assign the receipt printer
Confirm if the run credit cards though a CashMate interface and setup (if needed) and test before logging off
335544333 - Firebird Consistency Check - Often caused by power outage, pc shut down while PM open, corrupt data for various reasons (bad backup)
Try opening PMU and restore a backup prior to the error message (Master) / if Auxiliary, try to run the last update again and choose repair
If PMU doesn't open, do clean uninstall/reinstall and restore a backup prior to the error
335544569 - Dynamic SQL Error - corrupt data (sometimes related to QUOTES feature or added mail name)
Generally you will need to uninstall/reinstall PostalMate and restore a backup, but if they have done sales prior to the error, you can try taking database out and replacing once reinstalled (doesn't always work)
Remove mail names and re-add
335544321 - Arithmetic exceptions, numeric overflow or string truncation - Long address for domestic or international entries
Nothing we can do about that, they will have to shorten or abbreviate if they can, otherwise highlight the important info
335544345 - Database Deadlock - concurrent update
Reboot all PM pcs simultaneously
335544344 - I/O error during "ReadFile" operation for file "C:\PROGRAMDATA... Error while trying to read from file Data error (cyclic redundancy check).
Hard drive failure or bad sectors.
335544335 - Database file appears corrupt ()
bad checksum error on database page 48719
Clean uninstall/reinstall and restore the last backup
335544879 - This error occurred when adding a customer
Closing and restarting PM seemed to have resolved the issue
