Customer's Address as the return
Domestic Shipments (For UPS, FedEx, LSO, SpeeDee, and OnTrac)
The store address is always the return address. These are carrier requirements based on the fact that your store is the known shipper, not your customer.
You can change the contact name for the return address, to include the name of your customer, rather than your contact information. Here is how:
In PostalMate, choose Tools > PostalMate Settings and select Carrier Setup on the left pane.
Select a carrier tab.
Check-mark the box Use Customer as return contact below label.
Click Save.
Repeat the above steps for any other domestic carrier you choose.
The configuration for USPS is slightly different, but in the same location. Within carrier setup on the USPS tab select the Endicia logo button indicated in the image below. Go to the Options tab and check the use customer as return address box and save.
International Shipments (DHL, FedEx, and UPS)
For international shipments, the customer address is used as the return address. These are carrier requirements and help to ensure that duties and taxes will be not charged to your store.
