Accessing Perceptive through Cloud Desktop
Users with a business need to capture documents into Perceptive Content that are unable to install the desktop client can access it via the university’s Cloud Desktop software.
What's Cloud Desktop?
Cloud Desktop is a virtual desktop interface that enables users access to university-licensed software, formally available only in specific campus locations, on any up-to-date computer, tablet, or smart phone. Cloud Desktop can be accessed through a downloadable client (available for both Windows or Mac), through a mobile app, or via the web. To get started, please follow the instructions provided in the IT Website.
Within Cloud Desktop, go to the 'Start' menu and hover over the Perceptive Content folder to show your options.
NOTE: When accessing Cloud Desktop from a Windows computer be careful not to choose the 'Start' menu of your own workstation by mistake.Click on "Perceptive Content" to access the desktop client.
