Accessing Perceptive through Remote Desktop Server
Users with a business need to capture documents into Perceptive Content that are unable to install the desktop client can access it via the university’s Remote Desktop Server (RDS).
What's Remote Desktop Server (RDS)?
Remote Desktop Server (RDS) provides a secure, dedicated connection to an on-campus Windows environment, offering a consistent desktop experience with full access to specialized licensed software and network drives, particularly for staff who manage resource-intensive administrative tasks.

To get started with RDS, please follow the instructions provided in the IT Website.
- Within RDS, go to the 'Start' menu
and hover over the Perceptive Content folder
to show your options.
NOTE: Be careful not to choose the 'Start' menu of your own workstation by mistake. - Click on "Perceptive Content"
to access the desktop client.
- Enter your NetID and password
