Editing Individual Specimen Results
Double clicking on any specimen within Results Overview will open the Edit Results user interface. You can also highlight a single specimen row and click the Edit Results button
The left pane will allow you to set the Received and Approved dates (they will more than likely already be set via other functionality however, you can update them here. Note, all changes are logged and updating an approved date will not update the date on the actual rendered result PDF unless you set the specimen status to something other to Approved and then back to Approved.)
You can also update the Specimen Status and select a Reference Lab should this specimen be a send out to an external lab.
Comments
Clicking comments will allow you to apply a result level comment. This comment will be viewable on your final result design PDF in most scenarios. If you do not see your comment it most likely means you are using a custom result template that does not have the variable passed through. Contact support if you need it added.
Incomplete Tests
Tests seen here have not been performed by your equipment or are stil in transit to the LIS. Tests requiring manual resulting will show here as well. As your device submits results into the LIS each test will move from this section to the test details pane on the right. To manually create and result an individual or multiple tests simply highlight them, right click, and click Create Selected Tests.
Edit Individual Tests
There may be times when you utilize equipment incapable of LIS integration or your equipment's LIS connectivity has failed. In these scenarios you can manually enter results on individual tests. Double click on the test you want to enter results into and the below Editing UI will appear. Input your result and any test level comments and click Save.
Adding Tests
Normally tests will be ordered and automatically appear in incomplete tests or the lab test results pane. In some scenarios you may need to manually add additional tests. You can do this by clicking the Add Tests button and then searching for the test you wish to add. You can add the results manually here (or after you add). Click finish when you have selected all the tests needing added.
Result Criticality
The GoRev LIMS supports up to 4 levels of low and high criticality. These are most often configured as Low, Critical Low, Emergency Low, and Panic Low. Each presents color coded within the edit results UI giving staff a quick way to identify test results needing immediate action.
