Portal Access Instructions for Banking Information Setup | ACH Setup | Electronic Payment Setup
Those applicants and grantee contacts who have been provided with access to the banking information area of the portal can follow these steps to access the bank section. Who has access to set up banking information?
Within the Contact Info tab of the application, there is a subsection called Set ACH and Primary Signatory. Please select the contact you would like to have the ability to enter banking information into the Select ACH Contact picklist.
Only the Primary Contact on that specific grant will be able to select which contact is the ACH Contact.
Adding Banking Information
If you have been selected as the ACH Contact, you will have the ability to enter banking information within the Bank Info tab.
- Select the Bank Info tab. Populate the following fields:
- Name on Bank Account
- Account Type: Checking or Savings
- Account Number
- Routing Number
- Account Type: Checking or Savings
If your organization has received funding from us in the past and been paid by ACH, you most likely will have already completed step 1. And you will have the ability to select an an existing bank account or add another.
Banking Setup and Fiscal Sponsors
- If your grant request or grant has a fiscal sponsor, only the fiscal sponsor can add banking information to the request.
- You should work with your program team contact to ensure that the appropriate contact with your fiscal sponsor has portal access enabled.
- You can have your fiscal sponsor add the banking information to your request before or after you enter your application. The ability to submit your application will only appear after banking information has been added to the application.
