Add Colleagues to the Grantee Portal, Specific Request, Primary Signatory, and ACH Contact.

You will want to understand how to use the Contact Info tab to:

  • Add in a different colleague to assist you with the application process.
  • Update the primary signatory for any legal documents.
  • Select who within your organization should have access to your banking information.

How to Navigate to the Contact Info Tab

When you open your application, navigate to the Contact Info tab. If you would like additional information about how to complete your grant application, please review Locating, Submitting, and Editing a Grant Application.

What is all of this, and how do I use it?

Affiliations without Request Contact Roles

  • This section is a list of any people in our database who are not currently associated with the specific request you are working on.
  • You would want to grant them access to this request for a couple of reasons:
    • You would like them to have access to this request.
    • You would like for them to assist you with completing this request.
    • They are the person who should be sent any legal documents for signature.
    • They are the primary contact for this request.
  • This is what it looks like:

  • To add one of these existing contacts to this specific request:
    • Select the role field to the right of their email.
    • A dropdown should appear:

    • Select the + Add RCRs button:

    • If the Energy Foundation or Energy Action Fund is missing critical information of the title, email, or phone number for this individual, you will be prompted to populate that information:

      • Once you have populated that missing information, select the Update Contact button.
    • This contact will appear in the next section, Existing Request Contact Roles.
  • To add a new individual to the application that does not exist in the Energy Foundation or Energy Action Fund's database:
    • Select the Add New Contacts button

    • When you select the Add New Contacts button, you will be prompted to add their name, title, email, and phone number.

    • You can add another individual to the portal by selecting the Save & Add Another Contact button.
    • If you only need to add one person to the portal, select the Save New Contact button.
    • When you save the new contact, you must add their role as is mentioned in the Affiliations without Request Contact Roles section of this document.

Existing Request Contact Roles

This section lists all the individuals within the portal who have access to the specific request you are looking at. If you would like to update their type or relationship with that specific request, do so here.

  • Select the Role field
  • Select whatever option you would like to update.

  • Select Update RCRs.

Set ACH and Primary Signatory

This section selects who will be the primary signatory for any legal documents Energy Foundation or Energy Action Fund will send you regarding this specific request.

  1. First, add the contact within the Affiliations without Request Contact Roles section.
  2. Once you have added them to this specific request, they will appear as an option within the Select Primary Signatory field.

  1. Select Update ACH & Signatory

This section also allows you to select who can access, add, or edit banking information for your organization. Please grant access thoughtfully, as this role involves sensitive financial information.

  1. First, add the contact within the Affiliations without Request Contact Roles section.
  2. Once you have added them to this specific request, they will appear as an option within the Select ACH field.

  1. Select Update ACH & Signatory

You can add the same person as the Primary Signatory and as the ACH Contact.

You must have Author or Collection Owner permission to create Guru Cards. Contact your team's Guru admins to use this template.
