Template: Setting Up Your Home Workspace
Use this section to outline what every employee will be provided to set up their at home workspace. Examples are below.
The same equipment that we use in the office is useful when working from home. If you're working from home for extended periods either take your equipment home with you or ask #it-support or #hr-requests for equipment to use at home.
Consider using the following at home:
Monitor - makes a big difference to small screens on laptops all day.
Laptop stand - much better ergonomically than laying a laptop on a kitchen table or in your lap.
Mouse & keyboard - again, better ergonomics for extended use.
Headphones - headphones are essential for good Zoom calls from home on your laptop. (Mute yourself when you're not talking.)
