Critical Illness Insurance
Critical Illness Insurance, in addition to Accident Insurance, is offered through MetLife. These voluntary benefit programs are designed to complement - but not replace - your medical insurance.
When a serious illness or other medical condition strikes, such as a heart attack, stroke, or cancer, Critical Illness Insurance can provide a lump-sum benefit to cover out-of-pocket expenses for your treatments that are not covered by your medical plan. You can also use the money to take care of your everyday living expenses, such as housekeeping services, special transportation services, and day care. Benefits are paid directly to you, unless assigned to someone else. Visit the MetLife website for more details, rates, and plan information.
