ServiceTitan: Connect Your Dispatch Account

Quick Start

  1. Go to the Service Titan Integration API Application Access and send us your Tenant ID (shown it the top right corner). We'll send you a confirmation which will allow you to proceed to step 3.
  2. In the meantime, please review whether you prefer to set up the Job Flow (Option A) or Booking Flow (Option B) integration (see following sections) our Dispatch Account with ServiceTitan
  3. Go to the Service Titan Integration API Application Access and follow the steps in this 1 minute video to connect and send keys to Dispatch (support@dispatch.me)
  4. Once keys are received by Dispatch (and the above setup has been performed) Dispatch will notify you when the gateway has been activated
  5. New jobs will start showing up in Service Titan (from the point of activation) and relevant updates to those jobs will be fed back to Dispatch (to see which status, please see the FAQ)!

Job Flow (Option A)

If you want new jobs to appear in the "Dispatch" section (see screenshot) please follow the setup steps provided below.

We need a default business unit (we will create defaults for the campaign and job type per below unless instructed otherwise) to use for new jobs created in Service Titan. If you have a preference please provide us with the exact name to use in each case. Otherwise please perform the following (or follow the steps in this 1 minute video):

  1. Business Unit - Click here to add a new Business Units and name it Dispatchme
  2. Campaign - we will create one named Dispatchme (no further action required)
  3. Job Type - we will created one Offered (no further action required)

Booking Flow (Option B)

If you want new jobs to appear under "Bookings" (see screenshot) please follow the setup steps provided below.

Note: Service Titan offers limited formatting options on the description that appears in the booking created. For example, line breaks are not displayed in the main view and this can make it difficult to read in some cases. If you find this to be the case, then you may want to try out Option A which displays the data in an easier to read format.

Setup Steps

We require that you provide us with the booking provider ID (not name) that you wish new bookings to be created under. Let us know which one by taking a look at this page (or create a new one). Important: Please select the "No Restriction" option when setting up the booking provider.

A business unit, campaign and job type are optional. If you provide us with one we'll set the new booking with the value you provided otherwise we'll leave it blank (if you wish to provide defaults please follow the setup steps provided in Option A).

Advanced Setup Options

  • Business Unit, Campaign and Job Type defaults – if you prefer to set up a different default to the ones mentioned in the Quick Start, you can do so (please see the FAQ for more information).
  • By default the customer on your jobs will be the home owner (as opposed to the customer being the job source e.g. AHS). If you would like to change this please reach out and let us know (for more information on this option please see the FAQ)
  • By default the job description will appear in a pinned note attached to the job, if you prefer that this shows in the job summary please let us know
