Logging Into Guru

Overview: Guru is a knowledge management software that houses TNS’s university knowledge bases, including MyDay training documentation, all in one place! To login to Guru, you must sign into Guru while you are signed into your TNS email address via Google.

Logging into Guru for the First Time

  1. Click through email from notify@getguru.com
  2. Login using your SSO credentials
  3. Complete multi-factor authentication via DUO
  4. Fill out brief Guru registration form
    Note: The selections you make will not impact your account or system access

Navigating Guru after Initial Login

  1. Sign into your TNS Email address via Gmail, then visit https://app.getguru.com/signin to access Guru and click the Sign In with Google button.

NOTE: You must sign into Guru while you are signed into your TNS email addresses via Google. If you are having issues signing into your TNS email account via Gmail, please contact IT Central at ITCentral@newschool.edu.

  1. Clicking the Sign in with Google button will generate a pop-up window asking the user to select an account to use to login. Select the account issued to you from TNS, and allow Google permission to continue logging in. If you are not currently signed into your Google account, follow the prompts to use your NetID and your password, then follow the DUO prompts to finish logging in.
