How to Adjust Your Browser Zoom While Using the SOCAN Member Portal

Before You Start

  • You must be using a web browser (Chrome, Edge, Safari, Firefox).
  • Zoom settings are controlled by your browser, not the SOCAN Member Portal.
If the Member Portal appears too large, too small, or content looks cut off, adjusting your browser zoom may resolve the issue.

OPTION 1 — Use Keyboard Shortcuts (Fastest Method)

Windows

  • Zoom In: Press Ctrl + +
  • Zoom Out: Press Ctrl + -
  • Reset to Default (100%): Press Ctrl + 0

Mac

  • Zoom In: Press Command (⌘) + +
  • Zoom Out: Press Command (⌘) + -
  • Reset to Default (100%): Press Command (⌘) + 0

OPTION 2 — Use Your Mouse

  • Hold Ctrl (Windows) or Command (⌘) (Mac).
  • Scroll your mouse wheel:
    • Scroll up to zoom in.
    • Scroll down to zoom out.

OPTION 3 — Use the Browser Menu

  1. Click the three dots (⋮) or menu icon in your browser.
  2. Locate the Zoom setting.
  3. Adjust the percentage as needed.
  4. Set zoom to 100% to return to the default view.

When Should I Adjust Zoom?

You may need to adjust zoom if:

  • Menus appear cut off.
  • Text overlaps.
  • The page appears too large or too small.
  • You cannot see the full page width.
