Community drive - account - app
This how-to guide helps members log in to Community Drive for the first time, select or switch drivers, understand what actions can be taken once a driver is selected, and view trips recorded.
👁️NOTE:
- Each driver should log in using their own phone for the best results within 15 days of new policy activation
- All household drivers use the same Branch App credentials
- Each driver selects themselves under Community Drive
- Drivers can toggle off Record Drives or log out at any time to stop trip tracking
Steps to setting up community drive - enabling permissions
- Click Community Drive
- Read the information and click Get Started
Enabling Location Services
When setting up Community Drive for the first time on a smartphone, you must allow permissions in the app to record drives.
- Click Continue
- Select Allow While Using App
- Click Continue again
- Select Change to Always Allow
Enabling Motion Activity
- Click Continue
- Select Ok
Steps to selecting a driver and viewing trips/scores
- Click Community Drive
- Read the information and click Get Started
- Select who is driving.
- Click Sign Out Driver if needing to switch drivers
- If, for some reason, you can't select a driver, you may be prompted to reach out to member support. Then you'll click the Reset Login button under the driver in the policy you are attempting to log into - Support - account - app
- Toggle on/off Record drives if you ever need to stop recording
- You will see a green dot at the top of the app when it's recording and a red dot when it's not
- Click on the arrow next to view the scores
- You will see your score along with a breakdown of how it was configured
- View the last 30 days of drives
- Click See Details for each individual trip
- If a drive was recorded and you weren't the driver, find the trip and click Not the driver?
