Cancellation Policy

When/Why/How to waive a late cancellation fee

General Overview

Beginning March 1st, Five Iron Golf locations will be adhering to the cancellation policy laid out as follows:

  • Any booking (simulator rental or lesson) that is canceled within 12 hours of its start time will be charged 50% of the original booking fee
    • Lesson cancellation fee should be waived if the lesson is rescheduled within the next 3 days (does not have to be with the same instructor)
  • Any booking (simulator rental or lesson) that is “no call, no show” will be charged 100% of the booking fee

Late Cancellations for New customers (green star next to booking):

If a new customer cancels late:

  1. Educate them on our cancellation policy so they are aware for future bookings (simulator or lesson bookings)
  2. Cancel their booking without charging the late cancellation fee and communicate that their fee was waived because they are a new customer
  3. Offer to rebook the customer for a later date
  4. Send a message to the location desk: " CUSTOMER NAME late canceled their booking for X time. They were a new customer so I educated them on the cancellation policy and waived the late cancel fee"

Why do we charge a cancellation fee?:

"The cancellation fee is in place to provide fair access to our simulators, minimize wasted resources, and enhance the overall experience for everyone involved. Our cancellation policy, which includes the fee, is clearly outlined on our website and in the booking confirmations."

Each single appointment type within each service category for both simulator rentals and lessons will have two new pricing options that will denote that a booking was closed out as a late cancellation/no-show:
