Self-Guided Inspection Process - account - app and website

This resource explains how and where a member can submit the photos needed for the Self-Guided Inspection Discount. (previously named Inventory Discount)

Submitting photos

Members can submit photos on the Account website (branch.com) or in the Branch Mobile App. Click the category below to access instructions for guiding them through this process.

💻Account (Website)

Submitting photos via account website

  1. If you are opted into the self-guided inspection discount, then you will navigate to the tasks Tasks - account - website
  2. Click on Complete Self-Guided Inspection
  3. Click on each category and follow the prompts to submit photos

Steps to complete

  1. Once you click into a category, you will see the following for each:
    1. Description of the photo/s needed
    2. Place to click to upload photo (click/drag or upload from files)
    3. Field to leave optional comments
    4. Place to add additional photos if you have multiple items in a category
  2. Click Save once you have uploaded/entered the items needed
  3. You will be asked to confirm if you have uploaded all photos. Just click the appropriate answer
  4. Once all photos are confirmed to be uploaded, you will be taken back to the list to complete the above steps on the other categories
  5. There is a tracker at the bottom noting the percentage completed
  6. Click Complete Inventory once you have uploaded all applicable photos

Drag and drop images OR click the plus sign to snap a picture. Once the image is applied, you will see the upload status or the complete image once it's done.

If you click See Example, you can see the Branch sample image of the requested item.

The image can be replaced by hovering over the image or clicking the 🔄️Refresh. The image can also be deleted.

📱Mobile App

Steps to locating where to submit photos in the app

  1. If you are opted into the Self-guided Inspection Discount, you will see on the home screen a banner with the following:
    1. Note to complete inspection
    2. Days remaining before the discount will be removed
  2. Click Complete Self Guided Inspection to be taken to the screen where photos are uploaded
  3. Click on each category and follow the prompts to submit photos

  1. Once you click into a category, you will see the following for each:

👁️NOTE: Photos can be submitted from any device to help make it easier on our members. If they submit photos from one device and then log in on another, they will be able to see the photos they uploaded from the first device.

You must have Author or Collection Owner permission to create Guru Cards. Contact your team's Guru admins to use this template.
