How an employee meets their assigned goals will affect that employee's overall scoring for their performance review. Performance reviews can have a flat score or be on a percentage basis, and you can dictate how much of the performance review score should come from goals.

Set how goals weigh into performance reviews
Once your goals are set up, you'll want to determine how much weight the goals will have in performance reviews.
- From the Configuration module, hover to open the Company Setup and select Review Form Setup.
- Select a review form from the table at the top of the page, and then look at the details of the form under the table. Identify the Goal Weight Percentage field.
- Determine how much weight you want the goals to have as a part of a performance review. The Goal Weight Percentage field can be anywhere from 0-100%. For example, if you'd like goals to make up 50% of a performance review's total score, then you can put 50 in the Goal Weight Percentage field. If you leave the field at 0, then goals can still be assigned and tracked but will not impact performance review scores.
AllianceHCM tip: Remember that you can have a performance review's overall score calculated either as a flat score or a percentage. See more about performance review form setup in this guide.
