Employee Data: Labor Allocation

Objectives:

Learn about the Labor Allocation tab within AllPay. This allows you to allocate percentages of an employee's labor to different cost centers, which can be helpful if you have an employee who splits time across different locations or companies.

Labor Allocation

Log in to AllPay and from the Employees module or menu, choose the Labor Allocation section.

Here we're looking at the tab for our selected employee. You can see from the filters at the top that we’re looking specifically at the employee data for Serenie Beanie.

To set up a new allocation click on the Add New button near the top right corner.

An important note is that the various percentages must total 100 percent, as you can see in this example in the Percentages column. And when you run a payroll register for a location, you’ll see only the amount of labor that is tied to that location.

AllianceHCM tip: This can be helpful to get a better idea about the cost to operate a specific location.

Remember to Save any new information or any edits to an existing allocation.
