Part-Time Faculty Salary Advance
Eligible part-time faculty have the option to elect an advance of $300 at the beginning of the semester as an advance pay. The advance pay will be deducted from the employee's paycheck until the deductions are returned. In order to view and track your advance pay, please follow the instructions below.
Eligibility Definition: Part-time faculty members who have submitted a signed appointment letter at least four (4) weeks in advance of the start of the semester and have at least one (1) active course assignment are eligible to receive an advanced payment of $300.00.

PLEASE NOTE: Electing the Salary Advance is optional, not required.
Request or Skip Advance Pay
Eligible part-time faculty may request (or skip) Advance Pay when they view and sign their appointment letters. See Acknowledge Appointment Letters in MyDay for instructions.
View and Track Advance Pay
- Log into MyDay. See Logging into MyDay if you need assistance.
- Select the Global Navigation Menu at the top left of the screen

- Click Pay in the apps menu.

- Select Payslips under View.

- Select the payslip you wish to view and click View.

- Scroll down to Earnings. The advanced pay will be displayed below and will identify "PTF Advance Pay" in the description.

NOTE: There may be more than one entry for Advance Pay depending on your position(s).

Repayment of Advance Pay
When repayment begins you will see a deduction in your paycheck until the full amount has been repaid. Deductions are shown in parenthesis ().
