Authoring Knowledge in Guru HQ

What is this card? Use this card as a guide when you're adding knowledge in Guru HQ.

Rule of thumb: You should add knowledge to Guru when it will help someone else.

When authoring a Card, follow Guru's Knowledge Philosophy:

  1. For whom am I creating this knowledge and how are they going to use it?
  2. Keep it simple and brief. Define acronyms and other terms
  3. Titles! Have a clear, systemic titling system that allows people to easily find something via search
  4. Verification - Set the verification interval according to the type of knowledge you're sharing (i.e. knowledge for a point in time event should expire when the event is over).
  5. Provide a clear way to give feedback (i.e. contact @julia and #helpinternalcomms)
  6. Set the verifier as the SME (subject matter expert) as one person or a two-person group maximum
