Merging Duplicate Accounts
Welcome to the GoRev Merge Patient Accounts Tutorial. In this tutorial, we will focus on the process of Merge Patient Accounts in GoRev.
1 : Navigating to the Master Patient Account
In GoRev, you will have the ability to Merge Duplicate Patient Accounts in the Patient Overview window. To begin, please navigate to the Patient Overview window for the Master or “Correct” Patient Account using the Search area on the GoRev Homepage.
2 : Navigating to the Visit Area
Once the Patient Overview window for the Master Account is visible, please navigate to the Visit section by clicking on the “Visit” button present in the Navigation Toolbar.
3 : Opening the Visit Menu
After the Visit section of the Patient Overview window becomes visible, please click on the Menu button in this area.
4 : Selecting the Merge Account Option
At this point, the Visit Menu will appear on your device. To continue, please select the “Merge Account” option from the list on your screen.
Note: If you do not have the “Merge Account” option in this menu, it is likely that your GoRev Account does not have the required Permissions to access this GoRev feature. If you believe that you should have access to this GoRev feature, please contact your Authorized Delegate for assistance, as they are responsible for all user Permissions.
5 : Entering Patient Information
Once the Merge Account window becomes visible, please enter the Patient’s Name, Medical Record Number, or Social Security Number into the first field in this window.
Note: If you have difficulty locating the Patient Account that you would like to Merge into the Master Account, please utilize the additional “Date of Birth” field in this window to aid in your search.
6 : Selecting the Primary Medical Record Number
Next, please select the Master or Primary Medical Record Number for the Patient by clicking on the correct Account Merging Option in this window.
7 : Finalizing the Merging Process
Lastly, in order to Finish the Merging Process, please click on the “Accept Merge” button present on your screen.
