New User Management
Welcome to the GoRev Administrative New User Management Tutorial. In this tutorial, we will focus on the process of Creating a New User as an Administrator in GoRev.
1 : Navigating to the User Maintenance Window
In order to Create a New User as an Admin in GoRev, begin by clicking on the “Users” button located in the System Management section of the Admin Toolbar.
2 : Navigating to the New User Window
Then, click on the “New User” button present on your screen.
3 : Entering the Desired Username
At this point, the New User window should be visible. To continue, please enter the Desired Username into the field provided.
4 : Creating A Temporary Password
Now, please enter a Temporary Password into the corresponding field on your screen.
If you would like the Temporary Password to be randomly generated, please click on the “Randomize” button.
5 : Entering User's Name, Email Address, and Phone
Next, please enter the User's Name and Contact Information into the corresponding fields in this window.
6 : Granting Appropriate User Access
Now, select the appropriate Facility or Facilities you wish to give the user access to in the Assigned Facilities section.
If you would like to grant the User access to All Locations for the specified facilities selected, please click on the “Grant All Locations” button on your screen. The option to select only a Specific Location will be added after creating the user in User Maintenance.
7 : Defining Appropriate Level of Permission
Next, please select the appropriate Permission Groups for the User in the Assigned Groups section of the New User window.
8 : Saving the Entered Information
Finally, in order to finish the New User Creation process, click on the “Create User” button on your screen.
9 : "Send Invite" in New User Account
After creating a new user account, a "Send Invite" link is needed to download GoRev and login for the first time. In order to do so, please navigate to the correct user account and double click on the username to open the User Management window.
Then, select the "Send Invite" button.
Note: You may also send an invite by right clicking on the users username and selecting "Send invite" from the drop down menu.
